The story

A neighborhood tavern with an operatic soul.

The corner building at Weil and Hadley dates to 1909. Nessun Dorma opened there in 2002 and became the kind of Milwaukee place people return to again and again.

Dark wood, a polished bar, intimate tables, warm lighting and an unfussy menu give Nessun Dorma its unmistakable character. The name comes from Puccini’s famous aria and roughly translates to “none shall sleep.”

This concept preserves the restaurant’s history and warmth while making the menu, brunch, events, hours, ordering and contact information easier to find.
